Lady Bears gain Repsect in Heartbreak loss to Fairmont Senior
The Oak Glen Lady Bears soccer team lost a heartbreaking game to Fairmont Senior 2-1. After falling behind in the second half (1-0), the Bears rallied with a goal scored by Maggie Kovalcik. The Lady Bears had more chances to score, but could not get the past the Polar Bear goalie. Then with only 1:58 left Fairmont snuck in the game winning goal. The Bears did earn respect by taking a perennial soccer powerhouse down to the wire with in the regional finals game. The Bears end the season with a 16-5-1 record
